Food wasn't bad, not overwhelming as usual. The service friendly. The assigned seat was gruesome. Drafty, cold and uncomfortable. It's a shame, a nice evening turned into an uncomfortable affair. Worn only by the good company and the conversations, but unfortunately ended too early because it was just uncomfortable. It's also a shame that such places are offered.

Positive: -Ambience is very nice (if you don't sit in the next room), they put a lot of effort into serving it! -Eat in itself quite good, but unfortunately also quite mixed Negative: -The menu is completely overloaded and looks like the cards from 10 different restaurants have been combined. A lot of advertising, in the last quarter the actual dishes come. Here in the stock photo shop they let off steam that the watermarks are flying ... There were also some funny spelling mistakes like the "Seelach" or the tagliatelle for 8200 €: D -The goulash soup itself was delicious, but the rock-hard and (luckily) very rare meat cubes in it could have been from a canned product. -Noodles Aglio Olio & Prawns: Prawns were delicious and huge! unfortunately there was literally only oil on the noodles. A lot of salt, pepper and garlic was missing, which is quite tragic with such a simple dish. Strangely enough, the few garlic chips were sweet and had very little flavor ... Anyway, I think saving on garlic doesn't really make sense with "Aglio" & Olio. You know what you're getting into. -The pizza my companion was a little small and the vegetables on it almost raw. The batter was very good though. -I had ordered a glass of white wine, unfortunately I got a (very unsuitable) rosé. Even though I told the waiter that and I didn't drink the wine, it was on the bill ... For the food I would give 3 stars, one star deduction for the negative "little things". Because of the nice ambience I round up ... The review is very detailed as the Rex3 advertises to be "the best restaurant in Emmendingen". I think there are both good and better ones in EM.

Great ambience and good food, mostly not too crowded.

Wow ... my husband and I are delighted .. appealing food, especially very, very tasty .. and the service friendly and nice .. next time the kitchen will also get a tip .... I loved the memory card 🥰🥰

Food tastes good for the price. The portions are a bit small. Drinks and cocktails is very good. Service is friendly, but unfortunately not attentive and you often sit on dry land. Therefore the star was withdrawn. The premises and the outside area are very beautiful and extraordinary.

Good selection of drinks. Nice ambience. Nice waiter. Unfortunately the pork loin was a little too dry. Therefore only 4 stars. Still happy to come back.

We had a nice evening and were served very friendly. Unfortunately, my food didn't taste so good. The selection of drinks is very extensive and the atmosphere is really great. We will come back and give the Rex 3 another chance.

Great restaurant! Great food! You really get an appetite when you see your dish on the plate! Owner and service very friendly and attentive! It is my first time there and I am very surprised by the ambience. I am not the last time there! Keep it up Rex 3 Team!

We had a very nice time at Rex3! The ambience is unique, the menu offers something for every taste. The service was attentive and friendly. A fine cocktail after the delicious meal rounded off the great impression. Highly recommended!

Fabulous atmosphere. Food always seems to be too salty and pretty normal (aside from the great pizza). I'd go back for drinks, small sides & the atmosphere.

Really nice place, good drinks, good pasta arrabiata and pizza margherita. Prices are totally reasonable for such a nice place.

Hammer restaurant. Highly recommended. Super delicious food for prices that I almost find too little for such a good meal:) .... Therefore great praise to the chef as well as to the service staff. The place is simply unique, properly furnished with styles. We had schnitzel with homemade fries and homemade herb butter & a vegan pizza very well.

Very nice place to eat in EM. Feel the atmosphere ... watch the people ... and relax. Very friendly stuff. Excellent food ... made with love ... that counts.

Great indoor and outdoor atmospheres. Extensive food and drink selection. Standard German food, plus pizza, pasta, salads, waffles, ice cream and a seasonal menu.
